05/31/2019 – 06/02/2019: 7 Trails of Gold All Modes Trailfest

The New Mexico Off Highway Vehicle Alliance (NMOHVA) is proud to announce the 7 Trails of Gold riding and driving event in Grants, New Mexico on May 31 through June 2.

The event will be open to all types of OHVs: motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, Jeeps, and other 4x4s.  Look for registration to open on the NMOHVA web site near the beginning of April.  The event will be limited to a maximum of 150 vehicles divided by type.  Entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

The City of Grants, New Mexico is a motorized recreation-friendly community. The adjacent Zuni Mountains and Mt. Taylor area offers outstanding riding and driving opportunities.  The area is varied, interesting, scenic, and riding and driving is plentiful! Three days of the event will feature a variety of roads and motorized trails.

Mount Taylor offers a drive or ride to an altitude in excess of 11,000 feet over La Mosca Peak with alpine scenery and outstanding vistas. The Zuni

Mountains offer a very rich logging, railroad, and mining history with many remaining relics and ruins amidst the pines, aspens, and lush green meadows. Both Mt. Taylor and the Zunis offer a wide range of riding options suitable for all skill levels. These mountains include parts of both the Great Divide Route (the motorized Continental Divide Trail) and the New Mexico Back Country Discovery Route.

Mark your calendars now and then watch for the detailed registration information on or about April 1.
