City of Gallup Announces Kick-off of Planning/Design for ATV/OHV Facility

The City of Gallup has announced the beginning of the programming/planning/design phase of an ATV/OHVf acility proposed in the northeastern section of Gallup.

ATV/OHV users and other interested parties are encouraged to attend a series of public meeting to provide input on the design and function of the park. Meetings are scheduled as follows;

Friday, March 5, 2010 @ 6:00 p.m - PROGRAMMING; goals and project assessment

Thursday, March 18, 2010 @ 6:00 p.m. - SITE; master planning

Thursday, April 1, 2010 @ 6:00 p.m. - SCHEMATIC; preliminary design

All meetings will be held at: Gallup City Hall Council Chambers 110 West Aztec Avenue in Gallup.

Funding for this project has been provided through a grant obtained from the Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Departmen Recreational and Trails Program. With sufficient notice, a translator will be provided for non-English speaking residents.
