NMOHVA Announces the Seven Trails of Gold Dual Sport Event in Grants, NN

(Updated: 04/02/2017)

Mark your calendars now for the first big ride of the summer!  The New Mexico Off Highway Vehicle Alliance (NMOHVA) is proud to announce our early summer dual sport motorcycle event will be held in Grants, New Mexico on June 2-4, 2017.  Grants is a very motorized recreation-friendly community and offers outstanding riding opportunities on nearby Mt. Taylor and in the Zuni Mountains.  These areas will be "new" to many of our members and the larger riding community and we are very excited to showcase them to you.

The new event is intended to be a "low-cost, no-frills" dual sport motorycle event focused on providing outstanding riding opportunities to all riders.  Registration for the event will includes dinner Saturday evening and event decals.  All funds above event costs will go directly to NMOHVA's Access Defense Fund.  The Access Defense Fund is used to protect and preserve motorized recreation and access in New Mexico.

All three days of the event will feature dual sport riding on a variety of roads and motorized trails.  Mount Taylor offers high altitude (11,000 foot plus!) alpine scenery, outstanding vistas, and unforgettable riding.  The Zuni Mountains offer a rich logging, railroad, and mining history with many remaining relics and ruins amidst the pines, aspens, and lush green meadows.

On-line registration for the event is open by clicking HERE.  Additional details are available at this thread on ADVrider

Come join NMOHVA in a new area for some big summer fun!
