10/25/2019 – 10/27/2019: NMOHVA's 8th Annual Rubber Chicken Ride
Join all of your coolest friends at NMOHVA's 8th Annual Rubber Chicken Ride in Truth or Consequences, NM on October 25-27. Registration and information are available HERE. This is the dual sport motorcycle riding event that you have enjoyed for years, back and better than ever! Or, if you haven't yet attended, this is the one event you don't want to miss!
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will feature an amazing variety of dual sport riding opportunities through the mountains and deserts of New Mexico. Featured rides include the historic Palomas Gap, beautiful Chloride Canyon, awesome Mt. Withington, and other old favorites. Each of the last couple of years, we scouted and identified additional "new" routes for you to enjoy. This year should be no different as we already have several new options in mind.
All riding in the area is strictly "no fee" and at the event participant's discretion. Maps and/or GPS tracks of suggested routes will again be provided upon request at the event and we anticipate plenty of people who would be willing to let others follow them as they explore the beautiful and varied scenery around Truth or Consequences.
All bikes must meet New Mexico OHV Statutes including noise levels and spark arrestors. All road riding requires a legal, plated bike.
Registration for this year's event includes the Saturday night dinner, event decals, and a chance at some great raffle prizes donated by our event sponsors. All of this for only $65 per rider! At the time of registration, you will also be given the opportunity to purchase a "performance" event shirt (both long and short sleeve available this year!).
This year's registration will be adhering strictly to a limit of 100 riders. Rider's will not be considered registered until NMOHVA has received full payment and "the list" will be determined by payment date. There will be no "waiting list" so the first 100 riders to fully register will be the 100 riders accepted for the event. Register early to ensure you get one of the coveted slots!
Event "headquarters" will again be at the Pelican Spa in the historic district of T or C. Many of the riders will be staying at one of the many accommodations in the downtown area with restaurants and most of the historic hot spring properties lie within easy walking distance.
Pelican Spa - If you plan on staying at the Pelican Spa this year, the owner has hooked us up. He is giving everyone a 10% discount for RCR weekend and we have blocked all the rooms he has to make sure they are all available for our riders. Here is the catch... You must CALL (575-894-0055) to reserve your room at the Pelican and tell them you are with the Rubber Chicken Ride to get a room and the 10% discount. DO NOT try to book it online as it will show there are no rooms available.Book by September 30th because at that point the lock goes away and so does the discount.
More details are available on the 2019 event thread on Adventure Rider Forum HERE.

Don't miss out on this year's fun! We look forward to seeing you in T or C!
