Last Updated: March 5, 2010

The Magdalena Ranger District will host a series of six public workshops between Jan 25 and Feb 1, 2010 as it begins to analyze its management of motorized use on the District in compliance with the Forest Service Travel Management Rule.

The comments and suggestions received at these meetings will be considered in the development of a Proposed Action. Please note: The release of the subsequent Proprosed Action will mark the beginning of the offical NEPA process but these meetings are an excellent opportunity to provide input prior to the release of the initial documents.

Mon, Jan 25 - Magdalena

Tue, Jan 26 - Reserve

Wed, Jan 27 - Datil

Thu, Jan 28 - Monticello

Sat, Jan 30 - Socorro

Sun, Feb 1 - Truth or Consequences

If you can't make one of the meetings in person, the District will also be accepting comments by phone and email. See the link below for the full schedule of meetings/locations and all the necessary contact information.
